Regarding your latest podcast about Grace and Frankie. I happened upon “The New Adventures Of Old Christine.” Christine is a divorced mother, her brother and her son live at her place, the exhusband comes visiting every episode and so does his girlfriend “new Christine”. The series still got time to have another setting, the boy’s school and two parent-mothers and a woman friend for the main character. The show works seamlessly and never once did I get bored. As the series progresses all characters relationships with each other are explored/developed. Perhaps the secret is that they are all weird in a way, never boring and most of all very likeable.
The exhusband is a little bid of a yes-man in the first season to make old Christine shine I guess but he becomes more of a well rounded character in season 2. Pick up any episode from there on and I think what you get is a master class in sitcom writing. It’s also one of the shows that doesn’t make me analyse while I’m watching, it’s that entertaining
a few typos up there, can’t edit, sorry.
